As of the 31st of July 2017, Extreme Networks has purchased the business of Solutionware. Solutionware was formed in 2000 by Sebastian Giacone who grew the business aggressively through both organic growth and a number of acquisitions. They were a general small business IT company, with a large number of customers across pharmacies, manufacturing and real estate. He sold the business to Lee Blyth in 2013.
In 2013 they were also awarded Acer Small Business Partner of the Year at an awards ceremony in Chengdu, China. (The year before we won it in Buenos Aires! 🙂 )
The is an exciting development for us, Solutionware customers and their team.
Ali from the Solutionware team has come across and has already proved himself to be a strong player in the team, helping with the transition of the customers as well as working through the day to day support issues that customers have.
For the Solutionware customers, they now have the confidence that their IT is supported by a much larger company, (we are 7 times bigger by head count!) with a much wider range of solutions.
Our plan for the Solutionware customers is business as usual in the short term, with a migration across to the Extreme way of IT as we get to better understand how each of our new customers works and uses technology to grow their business.
